Single/12"-reviews

You can listen to samples of the songs marked with this logo and you must have a Real Audio-player.

Armand van Helden- Witch Doctor (The Remixes)

Brand new remixes of the club-classic. Includes a phat remix by The Orientalist and also the original mix.

Mantronik vs EPMD- Strictly Business

A very good Jason Nevins-like remix of the rap-anthem from 1988. Worthless info: I've got the original 12" from '88 at home.

Jungle Brothers- I'll house you '98

This is getting a bit nagging but here's another remix. This time The Hitmen have done a phat remix of the classic house-tune. This single was released some time ago but I see no reason not to review it since it's still going strong.

Lucid- I can't help myself

If I'm not mistaking this track was released in 97 but has been re-released now. Never the less it's a good British-made track (I love the organs). Includes a remix by Judge Jules and also a slow alternative/rock-remix for those of you who like that stuff too.

CD-reviews

Adam Beyer-Recoded

Underground/minimalistic techno at it's best by Swedish Adam Beyer (one of the best techno-producers in Europe?). This album is actually a follow-up to Beyers's Decoded. Here lots of other artists (and also Beyer) have remixed tracks from Decoded; f.e. The Advent (my favourites), Marco Carola and Thomas Krome. This album is released on Planet Rhythm and that means you will get value for your money.

For all you techno-fans out there: don't forget to always check out the latests releases from the phat labels Planet Rhythm, Tresor and Novamute!
